There appears to be no transparency - the loyal Boxnation subscriber base stuck their beloved Boxnation channel on Sat and found Fury was not on. Awful way to treat loyal customers and that is why I think this channel is finished now. The Fish twitter account was red hot on Sat and the person running it must have spent all night blocking every twitter account giving him stick. Not a way to run a business at all.
I agree. Boxnation wasnt a vision, it was a way of staying in business without a tv deal. Effectively the Ives family got a finacial using to keep Frank in business until a tv deal came along.
That is spot on - TV Deal with BT Sports and it looks like Boxnation will disappear from the Sky menu overnight at some stage this year.
It's just the transparency issue that someone above mentioned. Frank is so uncomfortable giving out any kind of information because he's so insecure. Even when Kugan asks him, he has this attitude of "when the time is right we'll tell you, now stop asking me. " Eddie for all faults tells you **** that goes on behind the scenes and is comfortable with everyone knowing it. Yes I know he's all about a pound note etc but the difference between the way the two run their promotional companies and how they engage with fans, are like night and day. Matchroom is to Frank Warren what Waitrose is to Poundstretcher.
BT PPV ‘ I’m about the fans’......you’re a boolsheeter Fwank true to form you’re ‘all about you’.... All I’d say is the Fury farce we just saw must be very worrying for BT cos something tells me the recent new deal and hype behind the Hall Of Shamer was all on the back of Tyson.
while I agree with pretty much everything that has been said on this post , the TV deal for MTK does , sort of, show that Boxnation intend to be around for the foreseeable which has to be a good thing for boxing. BT appear to be happy to have it as part of the package. With the warren fighters exclusive to BT and things like Boxing Matters packing in, I thought it was going in September. I've subscribed from the start and though it's been a bit **** lately, it's always been a bit ****, but I can't help feeling that, the healthy state of boxing in general , particularly on tv , wouldn't have happened if Boxnation hadn't appeared.
MTK signed some quality EE amateurs midweek as well, so there would appear to be intent on both sides

Let's face it when it first came on the scene it was bloody brilliant for us die-hards, after Setanta kicked the dust. Gave us some good cards and also there were some great classics. But it wears thin when they churn out the same content over and over again. but whilst it lasted it was great. RIP.
