Patrick Donovan vs. Óscar Ulises Amador Saballos, 6 rounds @ welterweight

 

Hardly anyone in this place. Bunch of round dinner tables draped in white tablecloth around the ring, and there are maybe a half dozen people sat at them, strewn around.

 

Paddy "The Real Deal" Donovan seems to be a quick southpaw, very into throwing flashy combos and then pausing to admire them, and carrying both hands quite arrogantly low. Fine at this level, but down the road he might want to button up defensively and sharpen the offense.

 

Donovan up two rounds and has dropped Amador once. Really no drama in this.

 

Amador twatted down again in round 3, mostly just quick light whips across the body, and he remains seated and spits out his mouthpiece exaggeratedly to show he is uninterested in beating the ref's count. TKO3.

Jake Whittaker vs. William Warburton, 4 rounds @ light middleweight

Jokes aside, Warby truly is a legend among UK journeyman. 199 bouts, virtually all versus prospects, many on short notice - and only ever stopped thrice. He scored a respectable couple of dozen upsets as well.
