I missed the first fight :( but the other 3 were decent. I was very impressed with Mimoune. He’s definitely Euro level quality which might yet be a step up from McKenna and Ohara.

McKenna to his credit, boxed beautifully. It was a very good display. He does lack the pop though and like Callum at 168, I have no idea how he makes the weight.

Ohara looked a bit agricultural at times. Swinging for the trees, not disguising his shots. He’s simply always looking for the big shot. He carries power but that only takes you so far. I think Mimoune could beat him.

    Good night of boxing though.

Agreed on Ohara. Expected a lot more from him. Pawing put a jab then throwing a big overhand right each time. Opponent had zero head movement so was an easy target.

Just been looking at the odds for this and Mimoune is the tournament favourite now.

I’d agree with that. That’s who I’d have backed before the tournament began. I remember him boxing Eggington with ease.

Looks the favourite to me by a margin -- boxed at the highest level of the S/F boxers.

    Mimoune fight was great.

Id recommend getting to the live show. I’ve been to both. Hugh quality action.

No don’t think so, It wouldn’t surprise me if they have the finals in Dubai though. Just purely based on finances on offer.

What about who the golden 'contract' is with? Im still very skeptical about it.

Definitely just with MTK I imagine. They’ve got some decent infrastructure in place with the top rank deal. I think very soon they’ll start making some big moves.

Surprised nobody has mentioned it but the two draws have been made for Friday nights card

    Mimoune vs McKenna
    Davies vs Jeff Ofori
    Walsh vs McCullogh
    Jazza Dickens vs Leigh Wood

looks like a very, very decent card from MTK on Sky this Friday. Really looking forward to Dickens vs Wood. Wood going in as the clear favourite but it’s worth noting that Dickens has only lost to top fighters in Galahad (suspended straight after) and Rigondeaux and then a technical decision defeat to Thomas Patrick Ward who’s a bit of a soft puncher but he’s a really good boxer. Should be a good scrap on a good card.

Bang on, mate. Very much looking forward to this. Ohara has ducked McKenna and Mimoune but can’t blame him. I think it’ll be Ohara vs Mimoune in final. Jazzer Dickens vs Walsh in the other final. Can’t wait though.

Wood v Jazza will be fight of the night.

Just dreading having to watch Tryrone Mcculloch - he is beyond terrible to watch!!!
