There's a good card on tonight in Edinburgh from MTK Scotland. How does everyone see the headline fights going? - Gary Cornish v Sam Sexton for the British Heavyweight Title. - Stephen Simmons v Simon Barclay for some form of Cruiseweight European title. Then another couple of decent fights with Tommy Philbin fighting Rhys Pagan for the Celtic Super Middleweight Title, Stephen Tiffney in a good step up in Troy James and finally Gary Murray and Paddy Gallagher for the Celtic Welterweight Title. I reckon most of the home fighters will be victorious, but can see Sexton winning as well as Gallagher. Think Philbin will stop Pagan late on, Tommy is criminally underrated. All in all, good card and glad it's on Boxnation.
Yeah, I'm looking forward to it. I've got a packet of pork Cumberland sausages at home, a fat tin of beans and some crinkly chips to keep me company. It's going to be a treat. I think Sexton stops Cornish; he's too fragile. Other than that I expect the home fighter to generally prevail in what'll be some entertaining fights.
Yeah, especially given the rumours circulating about Cornish and Nelson's falling out, not ideal preparation. No idea who will be working his corner tonight.
Will tune in for the main event. Also think Lamb Sexton will destroy Cornish. Anyone please tell me the odds on Sexton? Blocked on my work wifi.
It's an interesting one this, sexton hasn't had a meaningful fight since 2012 and hasn't had a fight in over a year! What's he been doing all this time??? Badly managed? Ballooned? And pasty ain't nothing special Could be a real bore or really entertaining
Sexton totally outboxed him won a UD. But tighter on the cards than it was. At 4/5 one of the steals of the year, Cornish is garbage, zero head movement.
