I wish there was more footage of Samart Payakaroon's early Muay Thai career. Even with the limited footage available showing him well past his prime, he was easily one of the most skillful strikers I've ever seen operate. Beautiful blend of championship level boxing and all time great muay thai skills.

Somrak Khamsing is another muay thai fighter that boxing fans should really be able to appreciate. In my view, he was probably the most skilled defensive muay thai fighters in history. Winning a gold medal for boxing at the Olympics is obviously an extremely impressive feat. But the way he utilized his head movement in a muay thai context was memorizing at times.
