Mugabi from the Hagler fight vs Basilio from the first fight against SRR who would have won?

    Someone countered my claim that Basilio would have beaten Hagler from the Leonard fight, because at middle Basilio was on the slide and that beating SRR didn`t mean much because he had started picking up losses at this point, also they stated that Fullmer stopped Basilio twice, I countered that Basilio would have beaten Mugabi more convincingly than Hagler did. Do any fans here feel I was right or wrong?

    have to go with Mugabi. Basilio is just too small (look how small his arms and shoulders are in the Robinson fight) and nothing more than a middleweight pretender

    Basilio could never make it as a middleweight for this reason.

    Robinson pulverized him

    Fullmer pulverized him

    and Mugabi would pulverize him as well

    can you imagine Roldan Basilio?

    I'd give Carmen a real shot against Hagler- 87 tho

    Mugabi is really overrated. He had one fight against Hagler where he was knocked out and when Hagler was rusty and that is the fight we put him in against legends of the past.
