Was he no longer the fighter he was after the Hagler fight? Was it instead Norris that completely ended his time as a good fighter? He put together an impressive winning streak after the Hagler loss, all by KO... Then Norris ended him in one, and that seemed to start a trend.
He was overrated to begin with. A great Shavers like puncher but when the comp went up Mugabi went down. I don't buy the hype that Hagler ruined him, he only had decent wins prior, nothing great or really that proven.
Decent wins, yeah... What sold him was that they were all KO's though. He had quite the knockout streak. I don't know. I've heard Hagler mashed him up bad and broke bones on the guy... And some fighters never recover from those kinds of beatings.
