Mugging Mike: Tyson vs Holyfield 1

I never understood the whole Tyson-bully argument. I mean Duran pulled a no mas against Leonard and people don't constantly question his heart. Even Holyfield quit against Sherman Williams.

 

Duran quit against Pat Lawlor too. Y'all must've forgot!!

 

This is wrong, during the entire 80's Duran's heart was questioned. Holyfield was completely washed up by the time he got to Williams, and it began finally began to sink in to his head. So Holyfield gets a pass in my book, because he proved many times before how strong his heart was. After the Leonard fight, Duran went on and fought Hagler, Hearns and many others. And redeemed him self. Also, Duran or Holyfield never bit off an ear (or two).

 

Duran quit twice, if he redeemed himself by showing courage in other fights surely the same is true for Tyson against Ruddock, Tucker, etc. Against Lewis he absorbed a horrific beating before going down when he could have easily quit or stayed down much earlier.
