He was definitely of his time, I'll give you that. But every word he wrote about Greb there is backed by countless other eyewitness reports

 

exactly look at what great heavies like ali and frazier did to a great light heavy in bob foster nevermind a natural 160 pound 5'8" middleweight. ali took bob foster's shots and made fun of it, pretending he was wobbling and about to fall lol. he would do the same fun game thing to greb. total mismatch.

 

I think this is another case of giving a fighter a little too much repect in regard to his chances against a much larger and highly skilled opponent. Greb has absolutely no chance at all against a prime Ali. Too much size, strength, speed and durability for Greb to contend with. Ali ushered in a new breed of athlete that was being seen across the board in all sports...big and fast and skilled. From Ali to Jim Brown To Wilt Chamberlain the waterline was raised and wouldn't be lowered. How the hell does Greb contend with the likes of Ali? Outbox him from a distance? Land crushing blows that demoralize and weaken Ali's will to continue? It's time to get serious. Ali would toy with greb until Greb pisses him off....then Ali destroys him.
