Ali 6`3 215/ Marciano 5`10 190lbs Ali had faster hands, feet and a granite chin. Marciano was a plodding tank with bombs in both hands. Marciano too slow gets thoroughly beaten by Ali. Liston was a bigger version of Marciano and got dominated by Ali. No chance for Marciano. Ali might even be able to take his best shot.
ali really, but i'd never plump for sure when the opponent is rocky. The result hinges on rocky not being able to stop ali, as his tradition when behind on points. Only a fool or a computer is going to predict rocky koing ali...and yet, its rocky.
Ali UD 15 is my money bet. Rocky may give Ali some good rds but i would bet his face looks really bad after 15 rounds.
Marciano's style would play right into Ali's. Ali would dance round him all night, dont think he would stop Rocky tho. Ali would be all wrong for Marciano IMO
Marciano's style would make for a very tough fight for Ali...swarmers create problems for boxers because of pressure...pressure...and more pressure. They smother the boxer and don't allow them to dictate the pace of the fight. In 1966...Chuvalo...in his title fight with Ali...caught him on the ropes..and landed rights hands flush to the jaw.Too bad George wasn't much in the power department. Suffice to say that if it was prime Marciano in the ring in '66...the fight mat have turned out differently. If you think it's an easy fight with Marciano....think again!!!
