Yeah, never mind the fight, just the adrenalin and dopamin buzz of winning and being out all night in the streets with fans must have burned off a couple of thousand calories.
Watched Hagler - Duran yesterday and I remember someone at the beginning talking about how much steak Roberto would eat before a fight. I think he said something about Duran eating two the day of the fight with Hagler, and having one steak and some orange juice before the No Mas incident- Maybe that's where he went wrong. Lol
I'm of the scarecrow heritage myself, and I never really got into exercising or even going outside at all until a year or two a go. The appetite stays with you whether you sit inside all day, or whether you go out and do stuff. In most cases, I'll eat a lot, and then immediately after exercising, I'll have to eat again! The hunger stays, always.
A high metabolism has a difference typically at the end range of about 300 calories. A slice of pizza a chocolate bar or two.
The fast/slow metabolism isn’t quite a myth but it’s very much far, far less potent than people seem to believe. Nobody is fat or skinny due to their metabolic rate.
“High metabolism” people are often just wired to fidget around a lot until the excess calories get unknowingly burned.
