Muhammad Ali (1964) vs George Foreman (1974)

Ali would utilise his speed in this scenario,and he wins by late round tko.

 

1974 Ali defeated Foreman with experience and strategy. 1964 Ali would do it with sheer skill and sheer speed.

 

Ali wins easily and he wouldn't have to lay on the ropes to do it. Foreman wouldn't be able to find him because his legs were too fast and and he could move all 15 rounds if neccessary. He probably wouldn't hit ali with more than a handful of solid punches, he'd catch mostly air.

He'd create such a wind by missing punches that he could rent himself out as a high velocity fan..

 

Ali would dance and slip his way to a wide UD, just way too fast for Foreman. The most George can hope for is to deck Ali once or twice.

 

If Foreman ran out of gas against a past his prime Ali back in 1974...what the hell would he do against the Ali of 1964?...

This version of Ali, up through 68, had the BEST legs boxing has every seen.

I've never seen a boxer more active with his feet, less relaxed, more jittery, and still have the stamina downstairs to go 15 rounds burning it up in the antithesis of what economical dancing looks like.

He would stay away from George rather easily. He showed in the first round in Zaire that Foreman would really struggle to get to him when he was on his toes, and he was slower then.

Foreman would tire WAY faster than a young Ali would. Ali was a conditioning machine- A freak of nature.

He'd stop Foreman late, because even if his skills needed a small bit of maturing still, his physical peak was fastly approaching, and no heavyweight has ever seen anything like it.

Watching young Ali makes me tired.

Remember the scores were "tight" when Liston retired on his stool....so somebody was hitting Ali out there.
