Referee discretion is absolutely sacred. No commission anywhere with a storied boxing history would retroactively turn a fight into a DQ. An NC is what happens when PEDS are used. Period. And an NC doesn't erase the memory of what happened in the fight. W or NC, Ali got up from a heavy KD and tore Cooper's face to pieces. He then did it again in the rematch. He's the better man h2h, and his legacy doesn't suffer. Doesn't matter much.
