Many people often state heavyweights in the 70s would be crusierweights today. How would Ali start up at cruiser if he went pro in the modern era? Which opponents would be the biggest challenge and how would he hold up with a fighter such as Usyk?

I thought of the question and I posted it, I admit Ali was my hero at the age of 7 but I do also admit his flaws. lol.

Ali will be helpless in Okolie's embrace.

Ali would easily be ahead on punches landed before and after getting hugged by Akinwande Jr

With modern weight training at 6'3" Ali would have fought bigger today than in his day. He was 210 ripped with minimal to almost no weight training at his 1960s peak. He'd likely be at least 220 today or more. He didn't have a small frame.

I imagine a 70s Ali would be around 230 as he was 220-225 on average in the 70s.

70s Ali was fat. He is no bigger than Usyk whose peak weight should be 220.

    Ali weighed 216 in Kinhasa.
