In reality it's impossible to say who was superior to the other head to head. We can analyse this until the end of time but all we can do is hypothesise the outcome.

All we can do is judge a fighter based upon their achievements in their own era and the significance of their reign. Both were dominant champions but one clearly outshines the other.

Fact is the only thing we can say for sure is Ali is much more highly regarded and there is very little Wlad can do now to change that fact. Ali will always be remembered as the greater champion for what he did in and out of the ring. The fact that 70% of the people here believe Ali was superior just goes to show how highly regarded Ali is.

The only things the modern HWs have over the classic HWs are size and power. Ali and Louis are far more skilled technically than Haye or Wlad.

Wlad fought nothing like Frazier, in fact Wlad is the complete opposite of Joe in every way.

Wlad is stronger and has better left hook. If Norton managed to break Ali's jaw Wlad would shatter it into thousand little pieces.

Simple question, i want a simple answer.

Out of the 2 of them....who has had their glass shattered 3 times and who is known as having one of the greatest chins of all time?

Time to pull Wlads **** out of your ass.

The fact that Wlad would annihilate Ali because he is bigger, stronger and more technically sound boxer does not take away anything from Ali's greatness and acomplishments. Ali was great in his own time.

Whose the smallest guy Wlad fought? did he 'destroy' him? No he didnt. Theres plenty of guys Wlad came nowhere near destroying. With all this supposed size advantage, Wlad should be knocking out guys like Haye and Chambers in 1-2 rounds, but he isnt. Maybe its because your making Wlad out to be something he isnt.

And you still havent answered my question.

Whose glass has been shattered and whose regarded as having on of the best chins of all time.

Answer that question please, dont avoid the subject.

Wlad is great in his time, but Ali is the greatest of all time.

I never said Wlad would knock Ali out in one punch. The most likely scenario is Wlad winning by a shutout like he did against Byrd, Chambers and Haye. Late TKO is also very possible.

You used the word annihalate, that to me suggests a destructive Ko, not some lopsided decision.

Winning lopsided decisions against the likes of Haye, doesnt not qualify Wladmir to beating the likes of Ali.

Yes, the likes of Ali are a higher calibre of fighter than Wladmir. Like it or not.

In terms of overall greatness, Ali is the world renowned measuring stick of greatness, not Wlad or Vitali. That could change in the future, but at the moment, Ali is the greatest.

Nobody wants to be 'great like Wladmir', everbody wants to be great like Ali.

Elroy has the audacity to compare himself to Galileo, saying the earth is round, while we say it's flat. I think he has it backwards. He's more like a person in modern times claiming that the earth is flat, when everyone else knows it's round.

I saw this thread in SaddoBoxing and ***********, and in both those sites, the other members (rightfully) told him he was full of ****, a moron, and a nuthugger. You know why? Because it's stupid, and no one who knows anything about boxing would take any of it seriously.

You have to admire the mental gymnastics he must have done to downplay Wlad's losses and glorifying of his opponents to the extent he has in his posts. He has a promising career in PR with his levels of spin.
