Ali wouldn't even get in the ring with 37 year old Corrie. The only time Ali would fight Corrie is perhaps in his first 3 or 4 fights, years from titledom.

but yeah that corrie is a suitable world title opponent for watered down champions.

yeah you flop, YEARS FROM TITLEDOM read the post ....cos you know that Clay vs. Moore was a gatekeeper fight not title defence, god you are so bad, you haven't even mentioned Moore was a former world champion ATG , not a perennial non contender like Sanders.

Who was still better than an ancient Mormeck. Actually, I'd take Moore over the version of Mormeck that faced Wlad.

nice one there in repeating an argument that has been proved a fail.

once again, not for the world title, and you are once again comparing Corrie Sanders to a HoFer to compound how wrong you are.

not for a world title.Do you see a pattern in your failure here? notwithstanding the fact that you just compared old corrie sanders to a 34 year old ATG Olympic medal winner.

To make matters worse for your comeback if such a thing is possible, nor did Ali get destroyed by any of these guys like wlad did versus old corrie, instead Ali destroyed them.

but whatever comeback makes you feel like you are winning, bring them on.

fair enough but it wasn't for a title or related to a title, so you've failed in trying to comparing it to Wlad/Corrie.

Really I should have said Ali wouldn't defend against someone like Sanders.

I was talking about title level or at least close, so that ends the validity of your comparison right there.

Sure I might have made some tiny mistakes, I admit that, but it seems you wont ever admit to the invalidity of comparing a title defence vs fat old unknown, never acheiver Corrie to non title fights vs ATG/HOFer Foster, Patterson and Moore.

no way, you joker, none of them was at the end of their career losers. they were all legit challenges and at least postprime if not prime. Calkling a world champion like Terrell worse than 37 year old Sanders just shows how misguided you are.

spinks is the only relative weakling there, and you know Ali shouldn't have been in the ring with anyone by then.

    (1) Sanders used Wladimirs head as a speedbag. (2) Wladimir couldn't suck it up against Puritty. (3) Wladimir crumbled against Brewster. (4) Wladimir shows a severe lack of guts, when pressed and hit.
Ali would win this fight before entering the ring. Once Ali's combinations start landing on Wlad, he panics as usual, and ends up on all fours on the canvas. Wladimirs, vulnerable chin whiskers, are a giant bullseye for an accurate puncher like Ali.

your problem is that you cant accept wlad LOST to an end of the road 37 year old who had been brought in to fall.

this is why you are trying to make out that losing to corrie is a better performance that ali winning against much better opps.

you're not just slightluywrong, you are arguing on completely opposite poles of win and loss. Wonder how long it is before you ask me if I'm black....

Can't believe this thread is still alive, ESB hits a new low. No wonder most of the decent posters left.

but according to some of these theories Ken Norton would have been an easy day for Ali too but he wasn't.
