Wlad was being made look foolish by a C-leveler doing a poor mans Ali impressionatsch

 

Ali went life and death with lightheavy Doug Jones and got hurt by Jones multiple times. I just don't see how Ali can deal with skilled defensive boxer of Wlad's size.

 

He lucked out with a SD on a headbutt. It was clear as day he was starting to gas badly.
TOS was nowhere near close to being even dropped let alone knocked out and Wlad needed a knock out fast. TOS knew what he was doing and would of got him out of there around the 11th.
He would have NO chance against Ali.

 

You don't understand the styles that make fights.

Jones walked Ali down non stop. Wlad gives Ali all the space in the world.

 

Wlad was taken out of a fight with Chisora for his own saftey. You like facts. That is a FACT.

 

Did you even see it? It was a clash of heads so the fight had to be stopped and it went to the scorecards.
One judge had TOS winning.

 

If he can barely beat TOS doing a poor mans Ali impression , he hasn't a prayer against the real Ali.

Wlad v Ali is an interesting match up, both have qualities that trouble the other. Wlads strength is his height, reach and sheer size. If he catches Ali then of course he could possibly hurt him. Ali has superior movement, faster hands, an exceptional chin, better stamina. He could box 15 rounds flat out when he was in his prime. I believe Ali defeats Wlad most likely on points, however when he lands his flurry of punches with little return most opponents crumbled under the pressure and accuracy. Whether he would be able to have as much success against a quality operator the size of Wlad will never be known for sure. I don't think either fighter lands too much significant early in the contest but Ali would catch Wlad more frequently and avoid being caught much in return. It would take quite a lot of flush punches by Ali to stop Wlad which if it happened would surely be late in the contest. If Ali was winning he would be content to take it on points. Ali would stay on the outside and box on the backfoot. Wlad best chance is timing Ali which he might have some success but he would struggle to land cleanly on an always moving Ali. Muhammad wins simply by beating Wlad to the punch, he would have the stamina and speed to maintain this for 12 - 15 rounds.

 

I now see. I am new and did not realize that Elroy may actually BE a Klitschko.

And looky here...against a 6'3" 218 lb. heavyweight - essentially Ali's size but nowhere near his skill - Williamson gives Wlad plenty to think about.
Why? Movement, straight punches, and counter punches. Exactly what I've been saying all along.

This wasn't even Williamson's regular style either.

Ali would expose Wlad's weaknesses badly.

Wladimir is tailor made for Ali.

Faster, more mobile, power to crack Wlad's chin, smarter and was at his best when a fighter came at him in predictable fashion.

And the size doesn't really matter. He delivered the "what's my name" one sided beating to giant Terrell, who isn't that far away for Wlad in overall talent.

Klitschko's main weapon is his jab with a counter right and Ali is not the type to let you recover.
