    How about:

    Superior footwork

    Better reflexes

    Quicker hand speed

    More variation

    Better timing

    ?

Wlad all the way too big too strong and too smart for Ali.

    Ha!

Wlad's currently fighting in the weakest HW era of the last 40 years.

Fighters today are not better and more skilled as a whole.

    A ridiculous claim!

A prime Ali couldn't have coped with Stiverne?

Ali was too small, and would barely have touched Wlad?

    I despair.

WTF has happened to this forum?

Speed, reflexes and skill can overcome a few inches in height and reach.

    Smart?

How would Wlad have coped with Ali's movement?

He couldn't tag Haye cleanly when he was pressed up against the ropes.

We were having this exact same debate a decade ago, except that Wlad didn't have even one belt back then.

Since Wlad is at least a dominant champion now, this forum's grasp on reality has arguably improved.

The big advantage Ali has is that Wlad would need to set himself before throwing a punch which would have been very difficult against a prime Ali.

    More Strength

    Much more punching power

    Stylistically favorable towards Wlad

    Much more explosive

    Better Accuracy

    More length

    More reach

    Straighter, and sharper punches

    Bingo!

Because how could he have done that, if Ali had've been on his toes, feinting and circling, whilst darting in and out of range etc?

Ali's movement would have caused Wlad all sorts of problems.

What made the fighters fighters of past more skilled? The fact that they fought in front of a primitive camera that gives a grainy, and unclear picture? That it was a few decades in the past? Or the fact that fighters back then would always throw loopy punches that were nowhere near as sharp as Wlad's, or other contemporary fighters?

Reach and height are a few inches.

Having more power and more explosiveness are useless if you can't set yourself and hit the target.

    Ha!

The onus is on you to tell us all how today's guys are more skilled.

Are today's fighters the best of all time, across all weight classes?

    Of course not.

The best fighters of the 80's and 90's are superior to today's guys.

There's also fighters in Ali's era that would wreak havoc if they fought today.

How many examples do you want?
