British am flyweight Muhammad Ali has failed a drugtest (steroids) in april and has been suspended. Ali (21) had previously won the silver medal at the youth European championships and had competed at the Rio Olympics was currently active in the World Series of Boxing. The AIBA is currently reviewing his case. Update: Ali has been suspended for 2 years after review.
Muhammad Ali did fail his postfight drug test for the Holmes bout. The Nevada Commission announced they were going to have a meeting to determine what to do when they learned he failed, and instead Ali just gave up his boxing license. So the Nevada Commission never proceeded any further. A little more than a year later, Ali fought Berbick in the Bahamas (because Ali didn't have a boxing license in the U.S.).
This guy is a complete idiot, he got popped for trenbolone which is best use as a bodybuilding drug and not for any sport that requires endurance and general all round athleticism.
Dundee said Ali was taking something to slim down for one of his last fights. I forget which one. Maybe the Holmes fight.
It's for making weight bro. If you are trying to make weight, regardless of the division, steroids are perfect because you can retain muscle and strength while dropping calories low. The drug Galahad got popped for - winstrol - is ideal for it.
Dundee said Ali looked good but didn't have the same strength, if we're talking about the same fight. I don't know myself.
