You can believe what ever you want. Ali did little to nothing for black people. He may have been a symbol to some. He was very bombastic which has led to the last 20 years of aholes in many sports acting like fools every time they do anything. It is so enjoyable to watch the aholes in the NFL jump up and down like they just won the game after stopping a running back for only a 4 yard gain or mugging for the camera after EVERY dunk. Gee only like 20 of those a game. That is the legacy of Ali. We should all be so proud. Well I'm off to the script club to make it rain.... (sure hope they take change) :nut
Are you serious Ali's life has two stages 1 when he was boxer and 2 when he retired he was a great humanitarian. Why does it have to be about colour. Why not what he's done for people of different colours. Ali is an inspirational for everyone no matter there age, sex or ethnic background. Before you spew do your research and then you'll see what a great Humanitarian he is
Are you crazy, Ali done **** poor on the entry requirements and they lowered the requirements just to draft him. And as for helping his people... No Viet Cong ever called me n***a, says it all really.
He was against a war that was a complete misunderstanding and that so many were against a few years later that it was stopped....have you ever heard how sorry McNamara was in later years about this war? Sometimes, true patriotism means to oppose your country when it goes in the wrong direction. You say Ali did little for his people....what the hell did the Vietnam war do for America? There was no communist threat to freedom in the US, the Vietkong just wanted to call the shots in their own country. My garndfather helped jews to escape to Switzerland during the Nazi regime, back than he was a criminal but he did the right thing.
