It's funny how anything to do with the "World Game" seems to bring out the worst in people.

I watched a doco about English hooligans at the last World Cup and they seemed to equate their booze riddled racism and violence as showing patriotism towards their country.But all patriotism meant to them was denigrating or beating up someone who looked or spoke differently to them and happened to support another country.

And all this over a game.

It's very sad.

 

You are 100% correct. To be honest, the racist hooligans are the main reason I don't support England at football. It is embarressing to be associated with such a bunch of pathetic mindless animals.
