How do you guys rate that win to this day Foreman has never been knocked out.

Would you say that was the most spectucular win ever in the sport?

No one gave Ali a chance it was a amazing just watched the fight in full.:bbb

There are only two fights to judge as to which is the single greatest win in the sport imo. Ali Foreman and Buster Tyson.

I don't rate it very highly either, Foreman defeated himself more than he was beaten by Ali.

Ali got a bit lucky in the fight, he knew that it was a one-time thing that likely can't be repeated. Ever wonder why there never was a rematch?

Some of you weren't around to know why the win is viewed the way that it is. Legend knows. Leonard Hagler is my third choice in my life. Foreman was pure destruction and he not only did he beat you, he obliterated you. Film and articles help but they can't ever tell the story. And if you weren't around its not your fault. Nobody picked the great Ali to win.

Depends how you define "greatest". I think Joe Louis's win over Max Schmeling was probably the most historically significant and greatest win ever.

    Because Foreman couldn't secure one?

He retired after the loss, came back in 76, passed up on an eliminator against Shavers and lost an eliminator against Young.

People were actually afraid that Foreman was going to kill Ali. Seriously. Stunning, incredible win.

As for the question itself, no, though it's up there.

Leonard-Duran I is the best win of all time.

Great win but I would have loved a rematch. Foreman was an animal. Maybe when he calmed down a little after he felt like **** it would have been a different fight.

Duran beating Leonard was the best win ever.
Ali beating Foreman is one of the very best wins ever.
