This is deranged fanboyism, based on an emotional investment in a celebrity - a psychological need to feel that his hero is the greatest - rather than a cold objective analysis.

I suppose Ali can defeat tigers, rhinos, elephants in hand-to-hand combat. His chin can hold up to swords, bullets, nuclear blasts. He can fire the Sun from his fingers and summon black holes to swallow his opponents. Ali is an omnipotent, omnipresent, and omniscience being.

lol at the forum being suckered into another Ali debate with the OP. Im only replying bc I didn't think it would last long.

Questions to the OP first since the AJ vs Ali thread.

Did you figure out muscle and fat weight the same ?

Did you figure out just bc a panel of experts ( lol ) pick someone ( Wilder ) it doesn't over ride my pick ?

Did you figure out you own Admittance of a supposed BEST weight of 220 in a 1969 a FICTIONAL frame you made up that Ali does not magically make him faster then still the 230 plus guys today ?

Did you realize Foreman himself said Ali of 70's was harder to fight himself due to physically being stronger and 60;s Ali would have lost multiple times ?I doubt that either.

What you did here again is reinforce a FICTIONAL stance when someone brings you ANY kind of practical point and that is you resort to " WELL ALI WOULD NEVER LOSE TO THAT GUY BECAUSE HE LOST THOSE YEARS ,HE WAS SUPERMAN AND I CAN MAKE HIM HOW I SEE FIT DO AS I LIKE AND IT DOESNT REQUIRE ACTUAL FACTS " this is what you do basically .... ….it goes on and on...right ? lol

I don't really blame you otherwise you cant create this Thread bc you know you get logical points unlike the history section here.

When really breaking down any match up you take how they won and where those guys would rank in other eras,oh yea I remember that killer Zora Folley who was used as a guide in showing how Ali would defeat AJ and when asked where does the killer 205 pounder would rank to show this against AJ opponents ,you heard crickets then . lol

See this is the problem you run away from comparisons ,you do not take when Ali defeated guys and who they were to show any strong stance Ali wins against some, bc its then illogical to make this superman mystique up when we all see Ali losing to bad match ups like Frazier and your view of 60's Ali as untouchable,,,,,he looked pretty touched to me in that cooper fight though? Well then you go to the FICTIONAL character of 69 Ali that no one saw and you make him unbeatable ..OF COURSE I saw the Superman comic when he TKO'S him to ,i have it .. lol

WOW...well keep on the good fight anyway I wont be hooked here and wont be responding back bc I said it all on the Aj thread ,im just bored and still waiting for any logical points why ali is a H2H monster and others are not and have been for about 3 decades now ! :icon_popcorn:

P.S im the ONLY guy on here to have been invited to any type personal invite of any event to an introduction to a hall of fame he was inducted into so the imbeciles who fought me on the last thread like this haven't a clue resorting to hater comments. lol

Ali would box circles around Wlad it would be funny to watch. Much lesser fighters than Ali beat Wlad remember that.

    LOl

Prime Ali was right before his forced exile, comeback Ali had lost his legs but it speaks volumes about his Ring IQ .talent and being able to adapt in the 70's....this guy was on top of the Boxing World for almost two decades....

Holyfield would get boxed silly.....his entire rep is made out of beating a washed up Tyson twice......he is 2-5 against Bowe/.Lewis/Moorer...if Holy cannot brawl he is cooked.....Ali would never brawl with him.

The stiff K brothers, one a one two arm puncher the other one a feeble glass chinned safety first fighter........lol....WK gets stopped from pure exhaustion in a 15 rounder and VK will follow him around like a puppy.....if freaking cannon fodder Purrity/Brewster/Sanders/Byrd and Grandpa Lewis can do the trick Ali is doing it ten fold...

Lewis? Does not have the speed of foot or hand to deal with the movement, would need to come in at 225 to go 15 rounds......Lewis only wins a round when Ali takes one off.....

The only interesting choices are Holmes and Tyson, they could pull it off, Holmes with the jab and 15 round experience and Tyson matching Ali in foot/hand speed plus excellent footwork with text book punch selection.

Good to see this..Not seen to many talk about how well Holy does aginst him. Hes fighting a very complete man that truly believes he can win, like a Frazier in heart, he wont bend, then with his skill set its obvious Ali has major problems. A lot of fighters that fought Ali were happy to be there against the great Ali, maybe in awe, not this guy, hes maybe the most competitive heavy ever imo, prime there wasn't a swerve or a duck in him, an extremely hard worker

Most of this is garbage but the highlighted bit most so.

People forget, pre-ban Ali was knocked out by 180 pound Henry Cooper and needed some creative gamesmanship (being baby-walked back to his stool and receiving smelling salts and an extended rest) to avoid the ref calling it.

Ali was great, but either Klitchko, both physically and tactically, are unlike any opponent faced by Ali. Except for maybe Holmes.
