Joe Choynski was outweighed by 60 lbs. and gave a young Jefferies all he could handle for 20 rounds in a fight that ended in a draw. Jefferies also had a very low # of fights. How can a guy be held so high with so few fights? Ali would run circles around him and win a huge decision or late round TKO

The first Jeffries vs Corbett fight was close before the knock out. Forget Corbett's boast. I posted the report a while back. Did you read it?

After many hours of debating in my head about this great match up, I have decided that my personal pick is Ali TKO 1.

How do you know they were not low. Chuvalo hit him low all night.

Doesn't mean anything. His brother was a bum, anyway.

His brother was no bum. He was a pretty good fighter, sure he never beat the Jack Johnson's or Sam Langfords, but he was a level below that.

No he wasn't. He was a journeyman stiff. A green, skinny Johnson toyed with him like he was nothing. Johnson was barely a contender when he fought him.

There is no shame in loseing to Jack Johnson. Johnson was a great fighter.
