    Would be three good fights. I see Ali winning the first two closely. The third would be Ali more conclusively - Joe had slipped more at this stage than Muhammad had.

    I don't understand the meaning of this thread. In a fantasy fight it should mean who would win between 2 fighters both in their primes.? No more or no less.
    In this regard I fervently say that the joe Louis of the Max Baer fight and the triple left hooks and ramrod jabs described by jimmy Braddock as feeling
    "like a light bulb exploding in your face" catches up to any version of Clay/Ali
    and kos him for certain. This version of Joe Louis might very well have been the greatest fighter in history that night...And Joe Louis with his precision and unwasteful use of energy could carry his power for 15 rounds if necessary.
    Joe Louis for the ages...
