One of the lesser fights in the Ali canon. Was remarkable in only one way. It featured inter round chats with Muhammad and Reg Gutteridge, the commentator. Ali ran away the decision using just his left hand most of the time. He was having problems with his right, and was sving it for the Joe Frazier fight three months from then.

It must of been great to be an Ali Camp member in these days, the Ali Global Roadshow gave them quite a few nice "working" holidays - Rudi was just one of a number of Ali "Ëvents" that probably had a rather "Ho-Hum" curiosity value at home, but was a big attraction in his opponents backyard, also Like Foster in Japan, or Lewis in Ireland it probably didnt matter who was in the opposite corner, As long as they saw Ali it was something to tell the grandchildren one day. They fun days before the real challenges had to be faced.
