Thanks for your video, you did a good job Narrating it. I do have to say though, that definitely wasent the voice I thought you would have. Lol!
Doesn't have the retractable head lights. That gives the 69" Charger the menacing appeal during day driving. That menacing black grille.
I see what your saying I just never heard retractable, those are usually called Hideaway headlights. I agree though, those are a game changer.
I failed to hit reply on my last post. This is a Doc on the 1970 Black Ghost. If you haven't seen it already, its a good story and good watch. This content is protected
Such an incredible movie, maybe my favorite ever. Took a second viewing for me to appreciate and, well, there's been about 7 more viewings since hahaha
Bruce Lee is the equivalent of a guy going to a cardio gym, except that cardio gym teaches kung fu instead of boxing. People saying "boxers lost to martial artists at the time" are completely misrepresenting what happened. 1. They lost to people who knew actually useful martial arts, such as BJJ, wrestling, judo and Muay Thai. 2. They were the same size as the people they lost to. 3. They fought martial artists who actually competed and proved themselves. If you want to see a boxer fight a kung fu fighter, look it up on Youtube. Boxers win 95%+ of times. The vast majority of kung fu styles are not legitimate, and Bruce Lee was not a legitimate fighter even within the scope of kung fu.
I get the same effect with music. Perhaps because quality work is so multi faceted and fresh. You pick up some positive features first time around but it takes several viewings or listenings to let it all sink in and then it becomes an absolute keeper for rewatching or re-listening.
Would you believe i am that way with music? I virtually never click with a song right up. It takes time to sink in for me where as most people i know realise straight up if they like a choon or not.
Lee was better than a generic cardio boxing person, but otherwise I agree. He was much more accomplished as a coach than a fighter. In terms of fighting experience, it's limited to training with competitive martial artists, a couple alleged informal street fights against other kung fu people, and doing OK in amateur boxing as a kid. Bruce was actually about the same level as Johnny_B claimed to be, come to think of it...
Exactly, Lee was far beyond a cardio boxer but yes his strength was as much his mind than anything. People think Bruce's concepts of fighting were just what they saw in his films. He had a great mind for combat and the main principle of Jeet Kune Do was to only focus on what worked in a fight and disregard what didn't, which put him at odds with traditional chinese martial arts like Wing Chun. He had great respect for boxing for that reason.
Both have great footwork: This content is protected from this moment until the end of the fight (I know it's a movie, but Bruce has good movement).
I favor every single heavyweight champion by stoppage over Bruce, in any environment. Forget the massive size difference. While a great student of martial arts, Lees record of 0-0 in any combat sport is a clear detriment. You can hit a heavy-bag all day but it will never hit back. Tommy Burns would knock him out within 3.
