Go watch the fight yourself and you'll see I am right.

 

Maybe it are the same men, but their eyes are it not (or were always bad), as Merchant or Lederman have possible scored since mid of the twentieth century at least.

 

After Manila the much younger Foreman should have had a good chance. The operative word is SHOULD. He WOULD N'T have had,though. Ali had messed up his head too much. Consequently Muhammad would always have had George's numbe post- Zaire. Even though,in 1976,Ali was n't quite the fighter he was in Kinshasa two years earlier he wins rematch anywhere it would have been staged.

A thought - George taking the whole of 1975 off was not the actions of a man hungry for a rematch.
