I am given to believe that an asthma attack had something to do with the outcome of this fight .
Now stop being a , [ provide your own expletive].

It was a joke... I actually like Dave Jaco, though. He fought a shitload of big punchers and he was nothing but a beanpole. I believe his son boxes/boxed, too.

The expletive I chose is... insightful ****.

I did get it, I was injecting some levity into the proceedings too.
    :good

  6. johnson wouldn't stand a chance! boxing had come a long way since the days of johnson, ali would toy with him.

those old boxers are fine for their time, but come on, they did look a bit silly in their stances and some of their styles.
hang on, i've forgotten that johnson is deified in most people's eyes, isn't he? so maybe he would win after all?

i can't believe that people are genuinely considering this a fair matchup, its just incredible.

Johnson was simply not offensive minded to deal with Ali's speed, style, reach advantage and punch output .. Ali would jab his way to a victory in a somewhat boring fight ..

The consensus seems to be,,,,,,,,,,,,,,one dull fight.

If Jack got physical early, he may have taken Muhammad's leg strength away,
Also, Jack would have no problem shooting several below the belt shot shots to get Ali's attention.

Oh,,,,,if Ali grabbed Jack behind the neck once,,,,,,,,,,,,it would be 'doomsday'.

Gotta go with Ali here. Too much speed and a fast long jab from the outside. Ali's jab is far superior to anything Jack faced in his day. Johnson would occasionally time Ali and land some good counters but would be frustrated overall by a bigger and faster opponent. Ali would be wise to avoid clinching with Jack who was a very strong man and could capitalize inside but if I know that so would Ali. Johnson liked to wait for his man to come to him and then rip uppercuts. That's not going to do against a big mobile man with the speed and reflexes of Ali. Muhammed by decision.
