I am not a big fan of either fighter, but I think Lewis has all the tools to give Ali nightmares. In fact, I think Lennox would beat Ali, more times than not. How do you see the fight going, and do you see it being a borefest?

It would be a borefest most likely. Ali's most exciting fights occured in 71-75.

If we are talking prime4prime. Then we should take Ali from 66-67 and Lennox from 96-00.

Ali has better speed and footwork, better handspeed and more stamina.
Lennox has big adwantage in power and is taller/heavier.

Lewis' power is overrated.Yes he had a big right hand (maybe this was his
    only one remarkable punch) .
But when somebody had stamina and chin plus health Lewis wasn't too
    impressive.
His (useless)ko percentage is too good for his performances because
    the Vitali(cut)i,McCall(mental problem),Chanet,Mason(injury) kos weren't power kos.
Mercer a slow, fat mediocre fighter could outjab the prime Lewis.
Othervise Lewis wasn't too effective against the below 220 pounds
fighters(He couldn't knock a bad Holyfield and a bum Mavrovic out in his
    prime.)
    A fast 210-212 pounds Ali vs. a clumsy glass-chinned 245-247 pounds
    Lewis.I can't imagine a Lewis win.

No shame in losing to Ali, many have done so, and there really would be no favourites against him, no matter who he fought.

Very impressive to beat a drug addict who was 15 years past prime

Well you can only beat the guy who's in front of you. You can't turn back time. But 15 years past would mean Tyson's prime could be measured in weeks, not years. Tyson at his best was extremely good, too bad it didn't last longer.

Whatever prime for prime Lewis dosen't see round 2

Against Ali he probably hears the final bell after taking 1000 punches

I disagree, but then I'm arguing with a kid who likely never saw either of them when they were actually fighting.

Why a 1000? Nice round number?

That's good to see your amazing ****ytical skills hard at work.

I miss the days when you could have intelligent debates about these topics rather than just reading over the top rhetoric.

Actually you're talking to someone who watched most of their fights as a teen in the 90's

Well you're talking to someone who is slightly older than both of them and saw them both fighting from day one. I still remember when the bars were full and the town would stop when Tyson was fighting in his prime. And at the time it was thought he was going to be unbeatable, sadly he self destructed and once the aura of invincibility left him, he became a somewhat ordinary fighter who had a great punch. I just finished watching the first fight between him and Ruddock. But I like both Lewis and Tyson pretty much equally.

So he lost motivation and dedication this I already know. I've watched every fight they both had and prime Tyson beats prime Lewis.
