I like Ali to win a decision over Lewis. I feel however that Muhammad would have to be having one of his best nights, such as the evening in 1967 where he tormented and punished Terrell or in 1974 when he beat Foreman.. Anything less than that and he probably loses.

Lewis could not take Hassim Rahman's and Oliver McCall's right hands the first fights.

When they compare Ali with modern fighters like Tyson, Lewis, Klitschkos many forget to mention Ali's extraordinary power to mentally annihilate his opponents, the fact of changing strategy several times during the fight, his incredible chin and resistance on 15 rounds.
Most of the best fighters from the 80s to today are unable to keep up with the 15 rounds.

Replace Henry Coopers left hook landing clean with Lennoxs right hand and Clay weren't getting up. Lewis KO somewhere about round 5

No way. Foreman was at least as strong as Lewis. And you say "far & away stronger"?
Liston was also about the same strength, immensely powerful.

Ali was like water that changes shape depending on the container in which it is transferred. His ability to adapt a different style for each opponent was unique.

I doubt you mean this. Because I believe that you mistakenly believe that "Clay" was just post-exile.
In fact, he changed his name on March 6th 1964, just after he won the HW championship.
And it is overwhelmingly believed that this fight was just the beginning of Ali's prime, the absolute peak being 1966-1967. Likely choose the version that fought Cleveland Williams in the Houston Atrodome.

When he had been Muhammad Ali for years.

Everyone keeps thinking of the first Henry Cooper fight in 1963, because of the knockdown, bottom line, he got up to stop Cooper in the next round. In the rematch on May 21 1966, he chopped him up, no knockdown, TKO 6.

George Foreman was physically stronger than lennox lewis but Lewis stylistically added to his physical pack could be a bad match for Ali

You know that prime Muhammad Ali, 1964-1967 would not be laying on the ropes like he did against George Foreman in 1974. Instead he would be circling Lewis, flicking out the jab, throwing combos while Lennox stalks him, looking to land his Sunday punch. Ali outpoints him Mate, just my opinion. Remember Ali is fit and trim at 212 lbs.

Don't you mean "pre-exile' if you're going to try and be a smart-arse? Hahaha.
