that was epic reznick, i loved the syncing, and the quality! i also loved how you analyzed each fighter and their abilities one of my favorite videos you've ever made
really really good... ali would take your heart in the ring...was that chuvalo hitting him with body shots while he held his neck shouting at him ?...and later the way he shouted back across the ring at the end of a round against foreman....he looked like he was a daddy scolding a child...he became bigger than his opponent as fights went on, he projected a sense of being the bigger better man, if that makes sense. love the way the video shows tysons head movement and defensive skills too. we didnt get to see many fights where ali hit to the body, only one i can think of at the moment is cleveland williams, and maybe some flickers towards listons body.
Tyson's lack of staying power really hurts him in this fight in my opinion. Try as I might, I just can't see Ali being knocked out in the early rounds and I doubt Tyson could outpoint a man as gifted and clever as Ali. It's not Tyrell Biggs he would be facing there. Nice vid.
thanks doug Yes that was Chuvalo And yea Ali was not a body puncher at all. But if you ever catch the Zigzy olympic fight, you will see Ali fighting with his hands up, and throwing a lot of 1-2's to the body from long range. That style was clearly not as effective as the one he had developed into
Nice video. If you do a longer version then footage of FOTC would be a superb addition. Other suggestions would be Tyson-Biggs, Tyson's debilitating body punching in the Ruddock rematch & Ali-Patterson I & II.
I'm supprised you didn't use any ali patterson...patterson was of course a much diffrent fighter then tyson, still his hand speed bob and weave peek a boo d'amato style was similar along with the tendcy to throw leaping shots from a crouch.
Thats a really good point I was about to use some Patterson clips, but I chose some other ones instead based on what fit the video best, but I never though about using it for the reasons you explained. I know it was obvious, but I guess my mind was caught up with other aspects of the video. Oh well...if I made a long version, the Patterson fights must be included. Thanks for the feedback and thanks everyone for the compliments
