Yeah, it's all relative. Bugner fought at range a lot better than Terrell seemed to.

True Terrell just seemed like he has no idea what to do at range and tried to fight Ali on the inside for some reason.... Surprisedly he had some success with it at first till he didn't

Wow what a beating Johnson took. Vitali totally dominated him.

I'm watching the fight now. The Bugner of the first Ali fight and the Frazier fight would put Kevin Johnson through a clinic.

Soviet trained fighters are so mechanical. Gate poison.

Thats how good Johnson was against someone who knew how to apply pressure and put a combination of punches together. Joshua didn't miss a punch never mind 800 punches lmao

    2 round obliteration.

If Povetkin did that to Kingpin the cruds would be creaming their pants.

Kevin Johnson reminds me of a homeless man's James Toney. I believe he lost his next twenty fights. Off the top of my head I can name 10 70s hws who beat him, maybe 15.

You do know Vitali was 38 and was having his 4th fight after a 4 year break right? LMAO.

OT: Wlad wins for sure, Ali could potentially out-move Vitali to a decision but I see Vitali winning the majority as well.

This is how good Ali was against a guy who knew how to apply pressure and put combination punches together. Holy cow what a beating, its almost like Ali was a shot fighter here:

Would you like me to name my ten seventies heavyweights who would be favored to beat Johnson prime for prime and five who would be pickems?

Such a list would be very good evidence that you think 10-15 guys would beat Johnson.

It wouldn't be evidence proving those guys would actually beat Johnson.

Only your reasons for each fighter on the list would do that.

I mean you're comparing a journeyman fighter with actual top contenders not really a fair comparison nor does it tell you much about either era

Johnson was 36 at the time. Ali was pretty shot by 36 but I'm willing to look at a list of 50 cruiserweights from any decade who could beat the Ali of the Spinks fights and then you can refine the list to cruiserweights who could take him out in two rounds. Ironically it was Johnson's 24th professional fight when he got stopped by Joshua. In Ali's 24th fight he was making his fourth title defense.
