Muhammad Ali excelled against limited power-punchers. Which of these would have the best chance of victory.

I would say Wilder, because of his unorthodox and awkward Style...also his Reach. But just a punchers Chance. Maybe ~20%

Carnera was a far weaker puncher than any other fighter on this list, Ali punched harder than Carnera and certainly would have taken Carnera`s best shots better than Primo would have taken any shot that Ali stoped a fighter with.

Picked Tua because as one dimensional as he was, he threw an explosive left hook and as we know Ali was susceptible to that punch. But I don’t see him losing to any of these guys. However it’s unfair to Sullivan since we have 0 footage of the man and he supposedly quite something in his time. I for one think the sport evolved too much for him to be competitive with Ali.

Was about to pick Tua then remembered how ineffective Lewis rendered him. Can't see Ali not doing the same.

Ali makes this a bum of the month club.

Best chance is probably Mercer via having a good jab along with his power. Or Wilder because god has a sense of humor.

    Wilder is winning this poll

Clumsy off balance Wilder with subpar skills, ability and just one punch

    Lol

From what I know of Sullivan's style, I picked him. He's of unknown quality in his prime, so who knows? He could surprise Ali and have some moments. No way I'm picking him to win, though.

Ali would box Wilders face off, he has no skill besides his long range right hand. I saw how over the hill Holmes delt with Mercer as well and can see prime Ali doing an easier job. I've also seen Lennox Lewis schooling Tua so Ali would outbox him more comfortably.

Hmm i dont know. honestly I might go with Wilder. He is far less skilled than any of Alis top 15 opponents but his physical dimensions and Unorthodox style might give Ali trouble. MiGHT. His power is also absolutely ludicrous. Ali would probably beat him him with ease though. Maybe I'll pick Mercer ? He's definitely the most skilled on the list.

And an 83 inch reach compare to Ali`s 78 inch reach.

What limited power punchers that he excelled against are you talking about? Foreman? Liston?

Do we get to pick the rules?

If so then probably Sullivan in a four rounder, or Willard in a fight to the finish.
