Ali wins all, but Holmes gives him a lot of trouble, and wins 1 out of a 3 fight series.

Muhammad Ali was at his peak years from 1964 until he was banned in 1967. But your opinion is your opinion. At that point in history, Ali never lost his title in the ring like Larry Holmes did and to a light heavyweight.

He'd roll thru all of them. He'd have to work against Fury's size and traits but he'd win a convincing decision. Charles would be one of the better matches but would lose a clear decision and he'd beat Holmes around 9-6 for mine.

    Joe Louis could beat Ali
(Not on the list but just sayin')

Prime Liston has a 25%-50% chance of beating Ali
    (Also not on your list)

Neither of those guys were slicksters. They were boxer-punchers

So out of that whole bunch, you see Tunney as the one giving him the most trouble ?!

In your dreams maybe. Even if he were to win, it would be a very hard night for him.

With all due respect Johnny B, Muhammad Ali had been out of boxing since 1967 when he stopped Zora Folley in 7 rounds, he had just two fights in his comeback before losing to Joe Frazier at age 29. Ali in my opinion could have defeated Larry Homes in 1967, just too fast.

Well, considering that in 67 Holmes was 17, Ali would have definitely won. :bump
Joking aside, it would be a close fight, but I see Holmes edging it as he had better fundamentals and technique.
