You just knew Cassius Clay was going to be great, after the way
    he destroyed Tony Esperti.

Cassius landed '12' punches on Tony's head in '4-seconds'.

'Big Tony' was a Miami Beach tough guy.

If Ali benefitted from a lot of favours and fixes that's just proof of his greatness. Why would they all conspire to protect anything other than a true legend ?

Ali never did everything textbook & wasn`t the most complete because he rarely went to the body & almost never did any infighting BUT he threw his punches technically very well, very accurate, fast & hard & was one of the very best ever at boxing from the outside, his jab, defensive reflexes, combinations & footspeed made him just about impossible to outpoint in a straight up boxing match, his opponents needed to get inside to outscore him but they usually took too many on the way in & would find themselves clinched & back on the outside before they knew it.

Ali was also a great finisher when he had a man in trouble, excellent killer instinct.

His lateral movement was something special in his prime as well.

My favourite boxer of all time, alongside Morales.

That`s one of the best highlight vids I`ve ever seen for a boxer, it shows just about all of Ali`s fights.

    Excellent work.

Just LMAO at some of the ridiculous hatred in this thread for the great Muhammad Ali.

If you don`t like the guy then simply don`t post in a thread dedicated to him because all it does is derail the thread from its original point.

Don't you know? Anyone that thinks he was great is a "Sheeple" and simply parroting what they've heard.

Ali was very good and maybe even great- but not the greatest of all time.

He was a master of the illegal hold and hit and the head pull-down.
He wasn't a bad rabbit puncher, either.

Had he worked on and developed his head butt, elbow and low blows, he would have been the Greatest.

    Cannot be argued,

    'The Greatest Showman Heavyweight Champion'

Nobody else could sell their Championship Belt for $400,000.

Such a pity that "the "Greatest" lost the most important fight of his career.

How dare you speak the truth on an Ali tribute thread?

    Shame on you!
