I don't think Ali schooling Joshua was ever in doubt even before this fight. A lot of fans in General forum underrate classic fighters. Ali is way faster than Usyk and while he wasn't a southpaw, Ali possessed other weapons that would completely confuse Joshua (lightning fast lead right hands, 6 punch rapid fire combos) etc. How anyone could ever favour Joshua over Ali is beyond me. Even before this fight.
Said so in the AJ/Ali thread, movement has always been AJ's biggest weakness. If AJ had learned to post and frame to control smaller faster opponents like Lewis did he wouldn't of lost but he simply doesn't have the tools right now to deal with the speed and movement of Ali and Usyk.
Why even mention Ali this is Usyk’s night. He went into Aj’s backyard and put on an all time performance.
Said so too. Ali would make Joshua work and miss like Liston did, and his power was comparable to Holyfield. Not only would he school Joshua, He'd probably stop him
I always have that thought of "maybe they are right, size difference is to big for most past heavyweights to beat modern heavyweights". But then the boxing gods give you a slap in the face. This would be a worse beating then Ali v Liston 1
