"Big" george would be little george in today's HW scene. 6'3 230-240 lol, he's like the size of david haye rofl.

Most of Ali's opponents would be making 175lbs if they fought today.

unless they ate as much as HWs these days in which case they'd all be scaling 240+.

yep, fat of course doesn't equal ability. though I wish it did, I'm chubbing up a lot this year.

Says a lot about how good rocky was with those turtle arms. Duran had a 66 inch reach.

Doug Jones, Ernie Shavers, and even a much smaller, faded Bob Foster busted up Ali before getting stopped. IMO they would of been similar to the Robinson-LaMotta or Robinson-Basilio fights where Basilio was much smaller, but in heavyweight. No heavyweight in history would have an easy night with Marciano. Always had top knotch ko power and athleticism in the sense he was always in shape and had the best stamina of any heavyweight, which gets often overlooked. Frazier was great, but he wasnt better than Marciano.

 Ali would've beat the brakes off Marciano. Rocky was too slow, too small and too old school. No hate, just calling it like I see it.

Marciano would have knocked him out. hell, a young Ali almost got ktfo by Henry Cooper just prior to the Liston fight. Marciano would have killed him. Ali was great and had many attributes. he is being HONEST here.

marciano fought the most pathetic competition
so you pick one fight where ali was 19 and got knocked down?
how about a prime Marciano being knocked down by old washed up guys like Walcott and light heavyweight Archie Moore. Ali beat real champions in their prime like Liston and Foreman.
guys like you know s h i t about boxing. :rofl

No Reggie, he did not admit he would have lost.

Early on in the interview, he says, in reference to Marciano:

"...but I truly think... on my best day and his best day, I would have beaten him, probably not knocked him out."

At the very end, he says aomething that's a bit difficult to make out.

    It's either:

" In his heyday he may have won, ah, he probably would. It's up for the imagination."

    or

" In his heyday he may have won, I probably would. It's up for the imagination."

So he does not offer a definite opinion, one way or the other.

Early on, he says he truly thinks he would have beaten Marciano.

Later he may have repeated this, or he may have said Marciano would probably have won.

The only thing we know for sure is that he did NOT, as the OP stated, admit that he would have lost.
