Norton's breakfast had me in stitches even more than the hilarious Texx Cobb post.

Especially the eggs part... they were Quail eggs surely?

  3. Sounds interesting. I do 14 exercises 20 reps during a boxing workout. Doesnt target like it used to and my core doesnt look that great. There needs to be More articles on core.

Front crawl is probably as stamina taxing as running and arguably more conjusive to boxing. You need decent swimming technique and to push yourself on it though

According to Emmanuel Steward the Klits do 800m interval training and were supposedly doing at 2miniutes a piece, which is probably bull**** because Seb Coe did his 800m intervals at 2mins a piece. Even a max 800m in 2mins for a man of that size seems unlikely

Yeah, that's what I do. I hold 40kg on my chest and do a couple of sets of 10 reps.
But I'm not training for boxing, I'm training for lifting ...

Doing hundreds of reps will build ENDURANCE in the muscles targeted. Probably a pretty good idea for a boxer.

The best abdominal work for a boxer - and I used to do this - is lie on the ground and have a trainer or training partner drop/throw a medicine ball in your stomach. You soon build the strength to resist, and take quite a hefty throw without grimacing.
instinctively you will guard your nuts when there's your mate chucking a medicine ball in your midriff, if you're at all normal

I myself can't run. My old knees just can't take it.

I spend atleast an hour a day in a pool, though, and I seldom seriously tire in the ring.

Roadwork is absolutely not essential: Extreme cardio is.

No sparring or shadow boxing or mitt training? No wonder he was robotic in the ring. I hope that's just his daily routine not his preparation for fights.

Me, too. I was just pining over my comic book and boxing magazine collection that don't have anymore. All I have these days is the Calvin and Hobbes collection books. LOL!

I think Kenny used nails for toothpicks … and then chewed them up and ate them.
