Ali was a terrible racist. People watched his fights because they wanted him to lose - yes. But not because he was black. It's because he was an axxhole. And it's the same with Floyd. And it was the same with Calzaghe, a white man. People hate axxholes.

You are right about a few things but wrong about the rest. All that hype and buildup is great ... But then when it comes down to fight night and all those people see the unbelievably boring fight that Mayweather normally gives, then it hurts boxing ... And turns potential young fans back to MMA. I appreciate Mayweather in the ring because I used to box and love the sport , but the average sports fan watches a Mayweather fight and is bored.

Ali was the peoples champ and he genuinely loved to fight. He would fight anyone that was in line and he called out the biggest and the baddest. He talked **** and he clowned in the ring. you might not of liked him but you had to respect him. A lot of people are angry at and therefore dont respect or like Mayweather because he dosnt fight who they deem he should fight. He fights who the **** he wanna fight and thats like a slap in the face to a lot of people. That makes him a villan and people want to see him get a beatdown because of it. I dont agree with a lot of Mayweathers antics but I dont hate or dislike him for it. I dont begrudge his choices in fights because hes his own man.All I know is that when he climbs into that square circle, whoever is watching or for whatever reason theyer watching is bearing witness to a master of the sweet science.:bbb:bbb:bbb

It was easy for Ali to play the villian. Just being black and speaking his mind would have done it for many whites at the time. Floyd lives in different times and he wouldn't be a very good villian if so many people didn't hate him.

Floyd's villain routine clearly gets him more attention and money, but he's frankly dull and unconvincing when compared to guys like Ali, Hamed, Eubank and even Roy Jones Jr. He doesn't really have much charisma at all.

It's his abilities in the ring that interest me, particularly his defensive skill.

Why Floyd no take 45 45 10 to winner?

    That was a good deal.
