Muhammed ali would probably be about as good as David Haye

Muhamed Ali was taller and longer than Haye (I've seen pics of Haye on facebook with people I know and he's not 6'3), faster and a lot better at putting 5, 6 punch combo's together, had better punch resistance, better stamina, more expierience in his peak and a bigger heart.

Haye stronger, more powerful and explosive than Ali but that's it. Wladimir didn't dominate him either.

On completely seperate logical issue - have the Klitchko's ever commented themselves on where they would place themselves in heavyweight history. Tyson often said that he wasn't near as good as Ali but I've never heard the Klitchko's comment on the comparison?

Ali has more of a Floyd aura to me. And haye a ortiz aura. That beeing said Ali would bring Haye to school.

i dont think thats their style to talk about legacy and i get the idea that they hold the greats in respect and choose not to talk like that...its up to everyone else to make that decision

as far as this current topic, Ali is much better than Haye but they are different

two slick fighters who are cocky doesnt equate to the same result

Ali had a jab and a left hand unlike Haye who just leaps in with wide rights and was predictable as hell

Ali moved but engaged unlike Haye, he would make it hard for Vitali to establish a jab and thus the fight could be ugly

If wlad cant establish the jab he cant really get going but likewise he will stay on the outside and stay tall and make Ali come to him and thats how Wlad will try to get openings

i cant honestly say oh Ali definitely all day 99 of 100 or Wlad is too big too strong hits too hard he wins easy
