    Don't know if anyone has this comic book or if some of you even heard of it. But it came out in the 70s and the gist of the plot is that an alien invader shows up wanting to fight the best warrior on the planet Earth. Both Superman and Ali volunteer for the job, so to decide who gets to fight the alien, Superman and Ali have to fight. But to make it fair, Superman had to fight Ali without his powers. Ali beats Superman and fights the alien.

    Ali is winning the fight, but the alien pulls a fast one and summons his super powers, Superman intervenes, stops the alien and all is well.

    Just thought I'd pass it along.

    LOL.

    But if you had to pick 2 boxers who are also cultural icons, you'd have to go with Ali and Tyson

    Going by the Wilt thread... it's another Tiiiiiiimmmber situation. Ali's vastly more experienced at boxing than Superman, so he'll easily win.

    I'll confess to owning a copy of this. Superman uses the rope-a-dope to defeat the alien battle fleet.
