MULTIVITAMINS. (And the use thereof whilst being sick)

    It's actually true that most multivitamins on the market are garbage. Just because there are some good ones, doesn't make them a necessity. There is no substitute for a solid diet. They are recommended for the general public who won't take the time to learn the basics of nutrition. They are also the same people who are scammed into buying worthless ****. An athlete does not have to take a multivitamin or a protein shake to meet his body's vitamin and minerals requirements.

    Another alternative that hasn't been mentioned yet is V8 vegetable juice since meal substitutes like protein shakes will probably be too heavy for now...you still won't be getting the protein you need but I believe it will allow you to take your multi without getting sick...assuming that you still can't eat. Cheers.

    Totally agree but eating a perfect diet is VERY expensive and time consuming so taking multis with a reasonable diet is a decent alternative for those struggling with the current economy...assuming, of course, that you are living a clean lifestyle.

    :patsch Don't know why this didn't occur to me...other than I HATE that **** lol...ever since I was a kid too...reminds me of drinking spaghetti sauce or blood or something...ugh.
