I guess having wins over such boxing luminaries as Jose Alberto Clavero , Bronco McKart , Alejandro Gustavo Falliga , Xavier Toliver , Rafael Sosa Pintos , Gunnar Jackson , Carlos Adan Jerez etc puts him right at the top of the Aussie boxing tree ....... atschatsch
Why didn't you mention his wins over Danny Green, Daniel Geale, Sam Soliman, Antwun Echols, Rigoberto Alvarez, Shane Mosley, Crazy Kim, Nader Hamden, Shannon Taylor, Rober Medley?
Well if you think beating those guys puts him at the top of the OZ boxing tree you must be on some pretty heavy drugs ...
Well called mate hope yo had a little wager on it.:thumbsup You would've been worried in the 7th and 10th though.:yep
Hey y'all! I actually like Mundine but he's well and truly past his best. Rabchenko is half-decent but many miles behind the likes of Alvarez. If Anthony took on and beat Alvarez I'd be cheering as loudly as MidniteProwler. But I honestly believe Alvarez would knock Anthony all over the ring from round one until he knocked him out. Mundine in my opinion is similar to Zab Judah. Both weren't the most skilled of pugilists but both were born as awesome athletes. But now as they're both in their later years, and aren't the spring-chickens that they used to be, what they bring to the ring now is far from second to none. Mundine should have tried to rule the JuniorMiddle/MiddleWeight divisions in his 20's/early 30's.
Why didn't you mention the boy from Petersham, Garth Wood. KO'd Mundine in 5rds and went the distance in the rematch. And won't mention the fact that he went missing in action when GGG offered to put his title on the line in Mundine's hometown Sydney. Mandy and Khoder fabricated a low risk cherrypicked career and tried to pass it off as elite boxing to a gullible public.
