heard today from a friend in Sydney that the fight looks to be canceled. I was flying up from Melbourne for it so pretty pissed off.
No tickets getting sold, which I had heard last week but assumed it would pick up.
There is no publicity at all. Unless you at we a big follower of the sport you wouldn't even know the fight was on.

Mundine isn't a draw anyway, let alone against a man who is wayyy p
    ast it.

It was a fight that didn't make sense to begin with. Not even the homer Aussies will buy into this horse ****.Shane taking the fight strictly for the money-which doesn't appear to be there.

Is the whole card off? They couldn't just promote Carr vs. Awad and Bennett vs. Jaca to co-main events if Mundine vs. Mosley fell apart?

Still listed on Main Event ppv, Venue & Ticketmaster sites. I guess as today's time lapses, will know if it's on or off

Hope this is not true. It's not too often Mundine get's in against an opponent he could possibly lose against.

How can Mundine vs Cacciatore or a third fight against Soliman make good money but a fight against an all-time great (wether or not he's past it) not be worth their time

As of an hour ago, they appeared to still be selling tickets because I nearly bought one.

I asked for best available and was allocated seats five rows back in a prime position.

That in itself indicates that ticket sales are not going well.

Bear in mind Wlad Wharton is stumping up the money for this fight rather than Mundine himself so it may well all be about to turn to custard.

I'm going to hold off buying for the time being to see what's happening.

I don't understand why this fight isn't a big drawcard. Sure, its an ageing Mundine, but he is fighting a boxing superstar. I can't see how Mundine wins this so people will get to see a superstar knock out Mundine.

All the haters should love it

There is promotion on the Daily telegraph, how one is old as **** and in it for the money and the other guy is a never has been, all facts but don't see the Mundine fans having a cry over it these days.
