In the above article Mosley states that he is more than happy to fight Mundine in America on his terms. That means Mundine can win over the American market if he wins and doesn't have to worry about the promotion of the fight. He will get paid 5/8th of f/all but even if the fight went ahead here he would have got nothing out of it either. Time to play by someone's else's rules Anthony.

i was really lookin forward to seeing Shane fight and holding onto the small hope that Choc could bring him back but looks like thats gone down the drain.

Shane is no idiot though.. under the right circumstances (say golden boy contractually given the right to choose officials and money up front) would come back but Choc wouldn't have it in him to secure all that.... will take more then the $700,000 missing from the purse this time to bring Shane back down under.

 

There is no money here what so ever for this fight and Mundine don't sell in the US either.

Mosley just admitted in a article mundines team was going to pay 700, 000 to keep him here when they found out that sugar was at the airport! So it was his decision to lose that money. He didn't want to fight.

 

His bags had been checked in and he was not far off boarding an aeroplane

He had a contract stating $700,000 in an account 10 days before the fight. He waited til 3 days to go and it still hadn't happened. They stuffed him around, he walked away. It's that simple

And somehow I highly doubt that Shane Mosley did not want to fight

 

I read that there is a chance that the fight may be made in America. I read that in American boxing media. I am disappointed that the fight was canceled. Seems like too many fights are being canceled for one reason or another..............
