I agree with your sentiment but on closer analysis I say no. He makes some claims that aren't true. Dean Brogan won an NBL title with Adelaide 36ers then switched to AFL to win a Premiership with Port Adelaide but doesn't present himself to well in public. He punched a bloke in the nose at an airport for a sly remark. You gotta be professional. Choc claims he's the only one to do it. Jenny Smith was a Gymnast at 1996 Atlanta Olympics then switched to boxing to be 2008 national title holder in one of the lighter divisions. She also has a PHD. Choc whinges when things don't go his way and he is as racist as I am. Physically 100% great role model, for the other reasons I mentioned he maybe viewed as a dime a dozen.
With his clean living lifestyle yes. And he donates to charities, talks to inmates etc. but the recent attack on police arrest in the Cross where they shot the wheels out of a stolen car that was running over pedestrians, lieing for his cousin about the 3 grand he had in his posession in court as well as his insensitive 9-11 comments undo a lot of that. In short yes and no.
This has been done to death. In short no, he is not a good role model. He may have some redeeming characteristics but ask yourself this, would you like your children to act like Mundine.
Sick of hearing about his no drinking, drugs, smoking lifestyle like it supposedly gives him a leg up. Most of the rioting Muslims treat their bodies the same way, and they carry on like ****ing toilets. Mundine promotes racial divide, criminal behaviour, and generally casts a stink of scumbagdom wherever he goes.
he's not bad, could be 1000 times better, he's underutilised & doesnt really speak all that well, if i wanted a role model & a figure head for a cause i dont know if i'd trust him to stick to the cause & do the right thing without going off on his own self centred irrelevant tirade
