Genuine Boxing fans would see through Mandy in no time,he commands very little respect in the USA,in fact he is considered a bit of a joke over there a bit like Eddie the Eagle good entertainment but thats about it.

Talked it up constantly over here and has never really delivered but still has some delusional fans clinging to the chance that one day he will fight someone with some credibility,but unfortunately Time has run out for Australia's Eddie The Eagle of Boxing,and I think deep down his fans know it.!!!!

 

The thing is, how many garbage players can you say that about?
Wes Patten on his day was great. So was Joe Williams, Leo Dynover, the list goes on and on.

Been very thin over the years Australian Boxing but Katzidis and Daniel Geale are two that come to mind who have actually gone overseas and done us proud both highly respected in the USA and Europe.!!!!

 

Katz :Yes respected as in got a couple of good floggings from gunns and 1 interim title.

Geale :well mundine is his only loss

Not bad for a guy who played a differnt sport until 24

 

He played a bit with Craig Colemans balls while he was holding his jockstrap.

 

He should fight Geale again because Geale has a real World Title not a Bull **** Interim one, and as for Katzidis he has fought Marquez,Guerro,Burns,Mitchell and throw in Diaz and Chavez think most of them would be Top 10 in the World,thats why Katz is respected overseas he takes them on no matter who they are.

Your mate Mandy spends more time dodging the likes of Golovkin and Trout and even was **** scared of Bika for god sake, it all points to one conclusion i'm afraid,He has a heart as Big as a Pea.!!!!!

And yes he should fight Geale and IMO he will later in the year if geale still has the title.

 

Put it this way Katz would racing in Group 1s at Flemington,while Mandy is winning Managatang Cups theres the Big difference,his record looks good on Paper but when you look at it closely he has stepped up in Class a couple of times and was soundly Beaten he just did not measure up,If he was a Race horse he would be winning a few Country Cups around the place but wasting his time going back to Flemington.!!!

 

So obviosly Mundine has achieved more than any other Aussie boxer in his time and history will show just that.
