Says more about Aussie boxings shortcomings than Mundines legacy. Simply put Mundine has done nothing in the grand scheme of things on the world stage.

Yep , but being the best Aussie of your generation considering you played a differnt pro sport until 24 ain't bad at all.

Kenny was just a footy natural, same as Mark Ella.

Benji Marshall, Matty Johns, Kevie Walters all very good 5/8s

What about your NRL career. What about the old comments that you were better than Brad Fittler and Laurie Daley? I described them at the time as disrespectful.

At the time, I truly believed it. You ask Fittler or Daley who was their biggest nemesis. If they're honest, they'll say it was me.

    C'mon Choc, they could play.

I don't understand why people pay to see this guy get KO'd. So is his lack of respect and modesty in his NRL days a part of the hype to generate PPV.....sadly not....true to form this is his history.

Five eights are ball players...white line fever coast the Dragons the GF thanks to Mundine..

I cant believe im even debating Fittler v Mundine as a League player..
Fittler has him covered at junior level...club level...state level and international level...And as a LEADER...

I seriously got to get the **** off the oz forum again and just stick with MMA....

So over the constant overrating of Mundine as a sportsmen...Im actually embarrassed he is somewhat of the face of ozzie boxing...

It helped that Lewis had the 2nd best Origin side of all time beside him during the 87-89 period.

If you blame Mundine for the 99 loss then you gotta give him credit for helping them get there. Mundine owned most of 99 especially the back end. Give him credit, he was on fire and out played Fitler in many encounters.

Of course Freddy had the better career but Mundine was no mug at League and came into it very young just like Freddy, he could have solidified a good name for himself if he kept on playing but he chose a diff direction. One of my fav attacking weapons throughout the 90s.

but he should have passed to Ainscough in the GF. He was the best off the cuff player but Fittler and Daley were smarter players. More reliable with Choc some days were diamonds some days were stone. The preliminary final was diamond the Grand final was stone.

He won a premiership at centre for the broncos you dumb ****! And at the time he was the highest paid player in the entire league by a considerable margin!

Laurie Daley played in all 3 of the Raiders premierships and 'Freddie' Fittler played in premierships with the Panthers and the Roosters. Not to mention the pair's international careers :good

I can't believe people here are drawing comparisons between Daley, Fittler and Anthony Mundine :patsch
