all cool mate and I agree with unproven sandow ($400k per year over 4) is a bit over the top but JT the best halfback is on 700k over 2 with a big increase to come or he walks from the cowboys. They almost lost him before this contract.

you have managed to prove 2 things beyond any doubt in this thread

    1. you are an absolute moron with an iq hovering around the mid 70's which i suspect is due to either complete lack of education or sniffing too much petrol/glue or a combination of the 2

    2. you know very little about boxing or rugby league

    bye bye :hi:

He was 100% on that figure in the super league war, it has been covered and if you use a little search engine called "google" you ****in mumpty you will find sources, do your own work!

If it helps you, it is covered in atleast 2 seperate documentaries.

(Not that I need to justify anything to a clown like you stewy, who knows less that a rock and has zero sources of your own)

Has he demonstrated such maturing in his other career?

Mundine had skills but he didn't have the mentality required to be a leader in a team of players.

He was a gloryseeker, and still is. He has shown zero indication that he would likely have "matured" in to a better 5/8th.

In regards to the $600k contract he signed with Saints - it was all part of the ARL's panic reaction to the Superleague war - players were getting signed up left, right and centre on massive contracts to keep them loyal to the ARL.

Andrew Johns was actually on $650k, so no, Mundine was not the highest paid player at the time.

As if they'd pay him $1 million to keep their bench warm for a season.

    He was an average 5/8.

Great attacking player + non existent defence and passing game = average.

And super league days plauers overpaid? Laurie spina was on 200k FFS!

This will be the last time I converse with you :lol:
October 2, 1997: Super League players Anthony Mundine, Phil Adamson and Carl MacNamara ordered to return to ARL clubs by NSW Industrial Relations Court so hardly a panic reaction he was ordered to return and his last year was 2000 and the super league war was well and truly over and that is when he got the 600k.
Above comment in red ,link or **** off....
